The One Life, One Subaru Road Trip 2025 was more than just a drive it was a celebration of adventure, friendship, and the spirit of Subaru ownership. Over 30 Subaru owners came together for this memorable three-day journey from Kuala Lumpur to Penang, creating stories that will last a lifetime.
The day started with a hearty breakfast at Subaru Petaling Jaya, where participants gathered, met fellow owners, and prepared for the convoy. Divided into three groups, the Subaru family hit the highway with excitement buzzing in the air.
Our first stop was at R&R Tapah for a short break before continuing to Subaru Ipoh Auto City, Perak, where a delicious lunch awaited none other than the famous Nasi Ganja of Ipoh, generously sponsored by Subaru Ipoh Auto City. To add to the fun, a lucky draw was held for participants, sparking plenty of smiles and cheers.
By evening, the convoy rolled into Hotel Jen, Penang. After checking in, participants enjoyed dinner together, joined by lighthearted games and a road trip briefing. Prizes were given out, laughter filled the room, and bonds between owners grew stronger as teams were formed for the next day’s activities.
The second day brought an exciting twist an off-road adventure to Frog Hill, Tasek Gelugor. Driving through rugged paths was an exhilarating experience, giving participants a taste of Subaru’s all-terrain capability. Once at Frog Hill, everyone hiked to the top, capturing breathtaking views and photos of the stunning landscape.
After a refreshing hike, the group played team games inspired by Subaru’s philosophy of uplifting lives. Teams showcased their creativity and teamwork, with the top three winners walking away with prizes for their energy and innovation.
The adventure continued to Balik Pulau, where participants savored the famous Red Prawn Durian at 2 Acres Café. Sharing fresh, creamy durians together created one of the road trip’s most unforgettable moments, true Malaysian spirit, Subaru style. The day ended with laughter, full hearts, and durian-filled stomachs as everyone headed back to the hotel.
On the final day, participants started with breakfast and a short briefing before jumping into the ultimate challenge a video creation contest for social media. Each team worked passionately to plan, shoot, and edit their videos, bringing out the best of their teamwork and storytelling.
The convoy then headed to Subaru Gembira Motor, Seberang Jaya, Penang, where the videos were screened and winners announced. Prizes were presented by Mr. Gavin Lee, Country Manager of Subaru Malaysia, adding prestige to the closing ceremony.
Before saying goodbye, everyone enjoyed a sumptuous seafood lunch at Tambun Prawn Village Restaurant, with its beautiful seaside views. The day also featured a special award for the “Most Charismatic Participant”, which went to Prema, who received her prize directly from Mr. Gavin Lee.
With hearts full and new friendships made, the Subaru owners bid farewell and headed home, each taking with them memories of an incredible journey.
